Cyberbullying, sexting damaging young people’s mental health – MPs

A new article has been released which discusses the effects of cyberbullying and sexting on young people’s mental health. Sexting can be extremely traumatic for vulnerable young girls if their intimate and inappropriate images are shared via the Internet or through smartphones.

There has been an 87% increase in the number of young people receiving counselling for online bullying in just one year.

This is exactly what NobodyStandsAlone aims to do. We want to provide young people with the necessary tools and tips to stop cyberbullying. We have built resources for teens, parents and educators on the facts about cyberbullying and are giving them proven strategies on how to deal with it.
